Adjust Class Associations page
On the Class Components Tab, set the Final Exam option to "No".

How to set up an experimental course in UD SIS. Reminder: An experimental course can be run twice, before it has to go through the course inventory process to become a permanent course.
Before setting up your section, please submit the following forms:

In UDSIS, on the Adjust Class Associations page (Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Adjust Class Associations):

- Update min and max units to reflect a fixed number of credits or leave as a variable number of credits
- Do not change billing factor, course count, or course contact hours fields
- Click Save

A “hybrid course” is a course that meets in-person/on campus part of the time and online part of the time over the course of a semester.
Is the course being run through PCS?
- If so, contact Reenie Hitchens at (302) 831-8792.
- If not, set it up in UDSIS as follows on the Maintain Schedule of Classes page (Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes):
- Section number should be the next consecutive number available on the course
- Instruction Mode should be OP (Online & In-Person)
- Add the instructor, meeting pattern, etc.
- Add appropriate numbered notes indicating/describing your Hybrid course. There are several available.
- If you don’t see one that relates to your course, submit the “Class – Free Format Note Request” form found on our website and we will add the note/text.

- Min and Max credit units:
- Auto-populates to variable 1-6 min and max typically
- Only adjust if course is offered for a fixed number of credits
- Do not change the remaining fields
- Instructor Edit should be set to ‘Class Instructor Table Edit’
Class Components Tab
- Do not change the Grading Basis
- Set Grade Roster Print to 'By Instructor'
SOC contacts will typically get initial instructions and specific course information from IGS contact James Bell, including topic to be added, notes, location of course, course description (if any), etc.

- Use search function to add numbered course note indicating location of course.
- Add note #0478 (“Section Meets in Another Country - Must be an Accepted Student on a Study Abroad program to register for this course”) to all study abroad sections.
