Riddhi Bandyopadhyay
Biography
Riddhi Bandyopadhyay, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Delaware. Before moving to UD as a faculty, he was a postdoc at Princeton University, working in the space physics group. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Delaware in 2020. Riddhi studies turbulent plasmas in space and astrophysical systems. His primary research focuses on understanding the fundamental nature of turbulence in weakly-collisional plasmas (mostly found in space and astrophysical systems), as well as the impact of turbulence on macroscopic properties of these plasmas. His research uses a combination of spacecraft data analysis, simulations, and theory to address related questions.
