Biography
Kathy Peña is an assistant professor of Spanish in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Delaware. Dr. Peña’s specialties include language pedagogy, Spanish for the Professions (i.e. Medical, Translation), and contemporary Latin American literature and film. She enjoys translating poetry and film, and has collaborated as a translator on several bilingual poetry anthologies. Travel is a passion that she loves to share with students, and she has directed study abroad trips to Spain and Costa Rica.
