Daniel Richards (South Africa)

Daniel Richards is a  creative director, producer, actor, musician and writer. As the Creative Director for a non-profit organization, the Ruben Richards Foundation, he aims to bring healing to traumatized communities through the arts. 

Daniel co-wrote and acted in an award-winning theatre show called Die Glas Ennie Draad (Glass and Wire) which was based on his interactions with one of Cape Towns most notorious gang leaders.

He believes that through engaging with the arts, communities can re-write their perceived narratives and begin to shape a future of positivity, opportunity and accepted diversity. 

Daniel is a Chevening Alumni and holds a Masters in Film Producing from Met Film School, an affiliate of the University of West London, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual Acting from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
