1:28 p.m., Sept. 7, 2010----Paul Drees, chief executive officer of Market Edge, a global consulting firm that delivers project consulting and management development programs in strategy, marketing, sales and innovation, will present “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in a Crisis Market” in the first lecture of the Senior Executive Speaker Series, at noon, Saturday, Sept. 25, in 105 Arsht Hall, 2600 Pennsylvania Ave., on the University of Delaware's Wilmington campus.

The series of four seminars during the academic year is sponsored by the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics to provide Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) students, alumni, faculty and friends of the college with an opportunity to engage in live interactions with senior executives who are ready to share their professional experience and personal insights.

The sessions, all of which will be held in 105 Arsht Hall, are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Event registration for Drees' program ends on Wednesday, Sept. 15.

Neil H. Shah, president and chief operating officer of Hersha Hospitality Trust, will make a presentation on “Institutionalizing Entrepreneurship” from noon-1:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010.

John R. Collins, senior vice president of Constellation Energy Group, Inc., will make a presentation on “Managing Growth and Succession in Times of Crisis” from noon-1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011.

Michael S. Geltzeiler, chief financial officer and group executive vice president of NYSE Euronext, will present the final seminar in the series, “Role of Finance in Well-Run Organizations,” from noon-1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011.
