Campus radio station fundraiser to run April 1-10
2:49 p.m., March 29, 2011----The annual Radiothon fundraiser to support University of Delaware radio station WVUD will begin on Friday at 6 a.m. and continue until Sunday, April 10. This year's goal is $35,000 and comes on the heels of the station's most successful Radiothon ever in 2010.
Money from the 2010 drive has been used to fund a power increase from 1,000 to 6,800 watts as well as the addition of HD radio for 91.3 FM and its sister station, The Basement Online. Both projects are nearing completion.
