Procurement Services info sessions
Daylong 'Pieces of Procurement' event scheduled April 19
9:07 a.m., March 25, 2011----“Pieces of Procurement,” a daylong series of information sessions offered by University of Delaware Procurement Services, will be held Tuesday April 19, at Clayton Hall.
Workshops will begin at 8:30 a.m., with each of the eight different modules being held at various times throughout the day.

Workshop topics include:
Works Beginners
Works Advanced (includes reporting)
UD Credit Card Functionality;
Egencia and UD Travel
Reimbursements
Procurement Online (navigating the Procurement website)
Requisition to Check (a discussion of vendor payment process)
Timeline to Buy (the conversion of requisitions into purchase orders, addressing the new amendment webform)
All sessions will be offered two or three times throughout the 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. time slot to allow flexibility in scheduling.
“This information session will be an interactive time for our campus community to not only meet Procurement representatives and attend a variety of seminars but to ask questions of our staff and several of our current suppliers,” said Debra Reese, director of Procurement Services.
Those suppliers attending will include Digital Office Solutions, Dell, Fisher Scientific, OfficeMax, Egencia and Bank of America, along with UD service providers University Printing, University Dining Services, UD Bookstore and the UDeploy licensed software group.
Registration will remain open through April 8.
