7:56 a.m., Oct. 8, 2010----The University of Delaware Office of Campus and Public Safety has announced a video contest for students, who are asked to submit a 1 to 2 minute segment on the topic “Emergency 101: Preparing College Students
The contest rules are as follows:
The video cannot be professionally developed. If students need video equipment, are encouraged to use the Student Multimedia Design Center in the Morris Library.
The contest is only open to students or RSOs.
Students must send in their submission via Dropbox to [mnickle@udel.edu], or on CD/flash drive to Laura McGrath, 217 Trabant University Center.
All submissions should include the name of the video, the names of team members and an email and/or phone number where the team can be reached. Only one person's contact information is required.

The winner will receive a $250 cash card. The video will be posted on the Emergency Preparedness website and will be shown prior to movies at the Trabant University Center Theatre.
Deadline for submissions is 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19.
The winner will be notified and the award announced by Nov. 24.
