Tickets are $12, adults; $8, seniors and alumni; $3, students and will be available only at the door.

The program will feature two one-act operas in English, Gian Carlo Menotti's The Telephone and Lennox Berkeley's A Dinner Engagement.

In Menotti's The Telephone, Ben is madly in love with Lucy and desperately wants to propose before he has to leave town on a trip. However, he has some fierce competition for Lucy's affection and attention -- her endless chatting on the telephone.

Berkeley's A Dinner Engagement gently reminds us that all's well that ends well. When some impoverished English aristocrats invite friends for dinner in the hopes of finding a wealthy suitor for their daughter, almost everything that can go wrong does so with a vengeance!

Both productions will be directed by Robert Brandt, assistant professor of music, and people of all ages will enjoy the charming characters and amusing comic turns.
