The Master Players Concert Series is presented by the UD Department of Music. Admission is $27 for the general public; $21 for senior citizens, UD faculty, staff and alumni; and $10 for students with ID and children.

Tickets may be available at the door, however these concerts were sold out last season. Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended. Tickets are available at the PTTP/REP box office on the UD campus or by calling (302) 831-2204. A $2 processing fee applies.

Under the artistic direction of Xiang Gao, the internationally renowned UD faculty violinist, the Master Players Concert Series serves as a vital cultural resource for the UD campus, the city of Newark and surrounding communities. Season after season, the extremely successful concert series has brought many of the world's most established classical musicians to Delaware.

This, the third iMusic production created and performed by Gao and his guest artists, will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

The iMusic productions are extremely creative and engaging pops concerts which humanize music in ways audiences have never imagined. These fun family events have been sold out in the past two years.

Last year, Gao invited a playwright, a philosopher, professional theatre actors, visual artists, fashion designers, fashion models, the UD Chorale and even the entire live audience to collaborate during the iMusic concerts. That allowed the audience to experience more powerful and accessible music than a traditional violin recital offers.

iMusic3 participating institutions, colleges and departments are the Department of Music, UD Media Services, the Department of English, the Institute for Global Studies (IGS), the UD dance minor, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Mary Campbell Center.
