1:32 p.m., July 21, 2009----Robert Stozek will retire as associate vice president for facilities effective Aug. 1 and Victor Costa will be named interim associate vice president, it was announced today by Scott Douglass, executive vice president.
“Bob has led the UD facilities group admirably for a decade. Under his leadership a dedicated group of facilities and maintenance personnel have kept the University's facilities, some which date back more than 100 years, in terrific shape,” said Douglass.
Stozek was named assistant vice president in October, 1999, after serving as director of the physical plant at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa. from 1990-99. Prior to that, he had been with DuPont from 1972-1990.
Costa, a UD employee for nearly 30 years, has served as director of facilities planning and construction since November, 2002.
