2:56 p.m., May 5, 2009----The University of Delaware Research Office is offering UD research administrators free roundtrip bus transportation to the Society of Research Administrators' Delaware Valley Chapter Meeting on Monday, June 15, at Drexel University in Philadelphia. The bus will depart the Delaware Field House at 6:30 a.m. on June 15 and leave Philadelphia for the return trip home at 4:40 p.m.

Please note that separate registrations are required for the conference and the bus.

The conference will include presentations on a variety of topics, ranging from the anatomy and physiology of a grant, to how to achieve the certified research administrator (CRA) credential.

The University of Delaware speakers on the agenda include Christine Cook, assistant provost for research management and operations, who will present “How to Survive an NSF Effort Audit,” and Janet Ianni, manager of sponsored research accounting, and Susan Tkachick, closeout administrator, who will lead an interactive discussion on closeouts.
