The workshop will focus on using the Foundation Directory Online, a library database that staff and volunteers of nonprofit agencies can use to identify sources for grant funding.

The online database includes detailed information on funders such as private foundations, corporations and public charities. The workshop will cover strategies for searching the database, locating additional grant information on the Internet, and using alerting services and RSS feeds.

The workshop is open to the public, and there is no charge. Registration is required, and seating is limited.

Interested individuals can register online at this Web site.
