10:01 a.m., April 28, 2009----Fifteen developmental research projects, selected through a competitive, peer-review process, will be supported in the first year of Delaware's INBRE renewal program, which is funded by a five-year, $17.4-million grant from the National Center for Research Resources at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The grant begins May 1.
These projects, to be undertaken by academic and clinical researchers across the state, are aimed at generating preliminary data to support the development of subsequent research proposals to NIH, as well as other potential funding agencies.
