IGNITE - A Weekly NineSigma Innovation Bulletin

NineSigma helps organizations in the public, private and nonprofit sectors 'connect with the world' to find new solutions, knowledge and partners to accelerate their innovation cycle. By acting solely as a matchmaker connecting scientists to interested companies, it distributes on a weekly basis, a digital bulletin which includes open requests, featured galleries, expert requests- all highlighted on NineSigma’s Open Innovation Community, NineSights!

UD scientists with competitive solutions versus basic research ideas are encouraged to submit non-confidential proposals.

Faculty Procedures for Responding to Innovation Bulletin RFPs

All applicants should follow UD standard operating procedures for submitting external grants. Interested faculty should reach out to their department administrator to confirm submission and for assistance with the electronic submission process.

To find your Departmental Administrator and Research Office Contract & Grant Specialist, simply go to www.udel.edu/research:
     - Click on For Researchers
     - Click on Staff Directory
     - Select your Department by scrolling down the right-hand blue box

Department Administrator should enter all proposals into UD’s Grants Management System, People Soft (PS). All approvals should be routed through FIN Proposal Approval Summary (PAS) webform, per standard UD operating procedures. Please copy staff from the Office of Economic Innovation & Partnerships, Research Development Office and Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations as listed below on the webform.
