Hullihen Hall is the central administration building at the University of Delaware, housing the offices of the president, provost, vice presidents, vice provosts, and admissions. Constructed in 1940, it was known as "University Hall" during its early years of service and re-named in 1952 in memory of Walter Hullihen, University president from 1920–44, the longest presidency in UD history.

Driving Directions

From the north: Take I-95 South to Delaware Exit 1-B — Route 896 North, which becomes South College Avenue at the intersection of Route 4. Continue straight on South College Avenue for approx. two miles, past such landmarks as the Bob Carpenter/Sports Convocation Center, Delaware Stadium, and the Delaware Field House. Continue going straight through the intersection of South College Avenue and Park Place until you reach the Visitors Center and the entrance to Visitors Parking Lot #41 on your left. After parking, walk north to the intersection of Kent Way and South College Avenue. Cross the intersection and resume walking a short distance north. Hullihen Hall will be on your right.

From the south: Take I-95 North to Delaware Exit 1 — Route 896 North, which becomes South College Avenue at the intersection of Route 4. From the west: Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Route 283 South. Continue on Route 283 South, which becomes Route 30 East outside of Lancaster, to Route 896 South. As you reach campus and cross the railroad tracks, immediately turn left onto Delaware Avenue and right (at the second traffic light) onto South College Avenue. Continue straight on South College Avenue to Visitors Parking Lot #41. Turn right into Visitors Parking Lot #41 (adjacent to the Visitors Center). After parking, walk north to the intersection of Kent Way and South College Avenue. Cross the intersection and resume walking a short distance north. Hullihen Hall will be on your right.
