Grants.gov is designed to serve as a "one-stop shop" for federal research funding opportunities. If you want to explore a particular department or agency further, selected links are listed below. For a comprehensive listing, visit USA.gov.
Many federal agencies and foundations offer grants, awards, and fellowships that limit the number of applications that can come from one institution. In order to increase the chances of UD succeeding in such "limited submission opportunity" applications, UD Research Office has established procedures for reviewing white papers for such competitions in a timely fashion. These UD grants of up to $6,000 are awarded through the general UD budget primarily to projects in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
Applicants who have received a GUR anytime between June 2010 and June 2012 are NOT eligible to submit for this round. No additional awards will be made to applicants who have failed to complete the required project report for a GUR award made prior to June 2010. Please read GUR guidelines for additional information.

The University of Delaware Research Foundation is a private corporation, chartered in 1955 to support research at the University. Early career, untenured, tenure-track faculty in the sciences and engineering are eligible for these annual grants of up to $35,000 each. Awards include $25,000 in UDRF Funding, which is matched by $5,000 from the Provost and $5,000 from the faculty member’s respective Dean.

Previous recipients of UDRF or UDRF-SI grants are not eligible to apply for additional UDRF grant support at this time. UDRF-SI applications are not affected by this limitation. Please read guidelines below for current requirements for this year’s submission.
