Why I chose UDHP: I decided to attend the Honors Program because of the small class sizes that would challenge me, Honors housing, leadership opportunities, and the ability to earn an Honors degree. The Honors Program is perfect for me because it provides a tight knit community feel within the larger university.
My Favorite UDHP Experience: My favorite UD Honors Program experience was the Alternative Spring Break trip to the Dominican Republic. Through this experience, I had the opportunity to serve alongside my peers in Batey Libertad, a marginalized Dominican community. While we were there, I got to do a home-stay with a family in the community and teach young children English.
