Returning Students may request room changes from April 27 to May 31 by completing the Academic Year Room Change Request form.

June 1 is the binding date for the Student Housing Agreement. Students with housing applications on file as of June 1 are obligated to live on campus for the 2012-2013 academic year and pay the associated housing and dining charges. Returning students who cancel the agreement between April 16 and May 31 will not receive a deposit refund.

The residence halls at the University of Delaware are home to a diverse, inclusive community of over 7,200 freshman, transfer, and upperclass students. Your residence hall will be more than just a place to store your things and go to sleep. You will have the opportunity to become part of a close-knit community and form connections that last a lifetime.

Students are housed in traditional single and double rooms, suites, or apartments. We offer residence halls that are co-ed by floor, co-ed by wing, or co-ed by alternating room, as well as one female only hall. If you need to defer housing, please submit the Housing Assignment Deferral Request. Recently admitted to UD? Be sure to check out the Entering Students page for information about the residence halls. Incoming freshmen must submit applications by May 1. Incoming freshmen wishing to select roommates should log into My Blue Hen Home between May 7 and May 31. Returning Students may request room changes from April 27 to May 31 by completing the Academic Year Room Change Request form.
