How did I get my nickname?

I will randomly start to dance whenever I hear a good song. Random fact: You can burn approximately 300-500 calories if you dance continuously for one hour.

An interesting fact about the University that I discovered recently.

Mentors' Circle marks the area on University of Delaware's campus where our students and alumni acknowledge the faculty members who have shaped their college experiences. Six professors and one academic advsior were added to Mentors' Circle in 2010.

The best thing to see or do when visiting campus

Bring your bicycles with you! Our campus is very bike-friendly so you can check out the great college town of Newark, DE without moving your car. Here's a map to help plan your route.

Words of advice for a student who is applying.

When you are visiting colleges and universities allocate additional time to spend on campus after the information session and tour. At the University of Delaware we have a variety of ways to enhance your visit experience: sit in on a class, eat on campus, or cheer on the Blue Hens at an athletic event.

The coolest Delaware experience

At my first UD event - Discovery Day, I met Delaware Governor, Jack Markell. I found out after meeting the governor that his father, William Markell, was an Arthur Andersen Alumni Professor Emeritus of Accounting at UD. You never know who you will run into as you walk across "The Green."
