Optional Study Tracks
General Information
In order to emulate the various majors offered by a university such as UD, Edge offers a combination of core and Second Summer Session courses as recommended tracks to students interested in a specific course of study. These tracks are not mandatory, but rather, serve as helpful guides to students who are unsure about what classes they want to enroll in.
Note: Study tracks are not mandatory, and students may enroll in any combination of courses. Tracks are merely suggestions meant to guide students.
Study tracks include:
SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
1. Core Course: BISC207-030 Introductory Biology I OR CHEM103-030 General Chemistry
2. Second Summer Session Course: Additional course in Biology (BISC), Chemistry (CHEM), or Engineering (CHEG/CPEG/ELEG/MEEG/etc.)
ARTS AND HUMANITIES
1. Core Course: ENGL210-030 Introduction to Short Story OR PHIL204-030 World Religions
2. Second Summer Session Course: Additional course in English (ENGL), Philosophy (PHIL), Art studies (ART), or any Humanities-related subject
SOCIAL SCIENCES
1. Core Course: COMM330-030 Communication and Interpersonal Behavior
2. Second Summer Session Course: Additional course in Communication (COMM), Political Science (POSC), or any Social Science-related subject
BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS
1. Core Courses: ECON152-030 Introduction to Macroeconomics
2. Second Summer Session Course: Additional course in Economics (ECON), Business Administration (BUAD), or any Business and Economics-related course
