UAPP301-010 Topics in Public Policy: Test Drive a Legal Career
This course introduces students to the U.S. legal system and allows them to test-drive a legal career. Students will select a track based on their interests, participate in hands-on legal exercises, and receive one-on-one guidance and feedback from a Delaware judge-turned-professor. Students will leave this course with a better appreciation of what it means to be a lawyer and whether a career in the law may be right for them.

ENEP250 U.S. Environmental Policy
This course explores the role of social, economic, and political factors shaping responses to environmental challenges in the United States. Emphasizes ecological systems, the relationships between energy use and environmental impacts, navigating policy tools and tradeoffs, and evaluating proposed policy solutions.

SPPA400/600-010 Campaign Management
This skills-based workshop equips students with tools and knowledge to understand how political campaigns work in the United States, including the trends and rules for campaigns across the country. Includes lectures and visits from senior practitioners from various backgrounds and perspectives.

This seminar dives into the role of an ambassador in U.S. international relations and diplomacy with former and current ambassadors as well as the staff members who support them. Includes interviews with experts on global diplomacy.

Mental health and substance abuse are ever-evolving crises in the United States, especially for young people. What are the policy levers that can be used to address it? This seminar explores the current status of mental health and drug addiction policy to investigate its multi-dimensional nature, including health, crime, and housing. Includes lectures and visits from senior practitioners from various backgrounds and perspectives.
