STAYING AT UD
On-campus housing options are no longer available. Find other lodging within a 15-minute drive of campus.
Book the dorms or your hotel room early to guarantee overnight accommodations during Alumni Weekend.
Alumni Weekend attendees who register for paid events are invited to stay overnight in the residence halls with friends. Each primary registrant can register for a maximum of one dorm room only. You can choose between North/Laird Campus or East Campus, each within walking distance to The Green.
Selecting a Room: We know how much fun it is to be close to your friends during Alumni Weekend. To make this easier, you are able to select the residence hall and room type.

To see the layouts and types of furniture in various residence halls and rooms, click here. (Please note that only a limited number of the residence hall buildings listed are available for Alumni Weekend accommodations.)
Alumni Weekend guests who register for a residence hall room will receive a room key, a building fob for residence hall access and a lanyard.
Keys will only be distributed to the suite purchaser as well as a designated roommate. Roommates who are not initially identified when registering can get a key during check-in only if the purchaser is present to vouch for them.
All keys must be returned at checkout. If a guest loses a key, the lock replacement charge is $185. This will be charged to the primary registrant of the room. Non-refundable charges will apply immediately upon checkout if room keys, access cards or fobs are not returned. Please keep this in mind when deciding how many keys to request and who will receive them. We apologize for the inconvenience; however, rooms are being occupied by students directly following Alumni Weekend, so rooms must be rekeyed immediately, making refunds unavailable.
Changes to your registration: Housing changes to your registration must be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Linen Packages: Linen packages are available for $30. You must order in advance and pick up when you arrive. Linen packages include a pillow, pillowcase, two sheets, towel, washcloth and blanket.
Wireless: Both locations offer free wireless access through Eduroam with a UD email address. Guest access instructions will be available at check-in for those without a UD email.

Do I need a rental car during Alumni Weekend?
The Comfort Suites, Hilton, Sheraton and Staybridge Suites are a 15-minute drive from campus and not within walking distance to UD. If you decide to stay at one of these hotels, then you would need to rent a car or take a taxi or bus to campus. Be sure and check out the parking section in our FAQ page for best places to park during the weekend.
