About CDI MID-ATLANTIC
The mission of the Community Development Institute (CDI) is to empower people with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve the physical and human resources of their communities, ultimately increasing the quality of life for all citizens.
The CDI program consists of three, four-day training sessions focused on building community development knowledge and skills. With the updated schedule, each training level is offered during a separate week throughout the year, allowing participants to complete all three levels within a single calendar year.
Upon completion, participants may also qualify to sit for the Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED) certification exam, which recognizes professional knowledge and experience in community and economic development.
