Bio
Ashley Wilkinson, MPP, is a Ph.D. student in the Public Policy and Administration program at the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, Ashley earned her Master’s of Public Policy at the University of Delaware, and also served in education through AmeriCorps. Currently, Ashley is working with Dr. Elizabeth Farley-Ripple on a statewide study of educators' exits in Delaware, using a multi-level ecological lens to examine intersecting factors that influence teacher retention and attrition across individual, school, district, and state levels. Her broad research interests primarily focus on education policy, with particular attention to governance, institutional structures of voice, professional norms, emotional labor, and educator enfranchisement.
