Complete the Undergraduate Admission Application.
The University of Delaware exclusively accepts the Common Application. Students must also submit the Common Application Supplement.
The Application for Admission includes the Secondary School Report and Recommendation Forms, the student essay. The UD Supplement includes the Honors Program application, if interested, as well as additional questions to help the Admissions Committee learn more about you.
Request official test scores.
Request official SAT Reasoning and/or ACT with Writing scores to be forwarded to the University of Delaware by the Educational Testing Service or the ACT Program. The SAT Subject tests are recommended for all freshman applicants, especially those to the University Honors Program

International applicants whose native language is not English should consult instructions for international applicants for testing requirements.
Request an official copy of your high school transcript.
Give the Secondary School Report form, available as a pdf, to your high school guidance counselor and request that they send an official copy of the high school transcript, along with the Secondary School Report, to the Admissions Office by the deadline for your admission category.
Submit a $75 non-refundable application fee along
with your Admissions Application.
Make the check payable to the University of Delaware, and include the applicant's name and date of birth on the check. The fee may also be paid online.
Request letter(s) of recommendation.
Provide your recommender(s) with the recommendation form included with the Admissions Application. In lieu of using the form, recommenders are also welcome to send us letters of recommendation on their own stationery, but should ensure that the applicant's name and high school are included with the recommendation. We require two letters of recommendation, with one letter of recommendation from an academic source.
