UD Lerner Chap Tyler Lecture welcomes Peak Trust’s Matthew Blattmachr

April 26 event focuses on overcoming obstacles, leading with passion

Dean Oliver Yao and the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics welcome Matthew Blattmachr, president and CEO of Peak Trust Company, for the Chaplin Tyler Executive Leadership Lecture on Friday, April 26, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Purnell Hall room 115.

In his lecture “Trust Me,” Blattmachr will share lessons in overcoming obstacles, leading with passion over popularity and finding success through resilience in overseeing one of the nation’s leading trust companies.

Through recent gifts to UD, Blattmachr was instrumental in the creation of the Peak Trust Company Scholars Fund that will provide support for learning opportunities for students in the Lerner College’s trust management minor program; and the Peak Trust Company Certificate Program Fund, which will provide the necessary resources for the creation of a certificate program.
