UD hosts Rolling Remembrance Relay

PepsiCo-led event honors veterans and raises funds to support children of fallen patriots

Join us as we stand in solidarity with children who have lost a parent serving in the military. The University of Delaware will proudly host a relay stop for Rolling Remembrance, a 9,000-plus-mile cross-country journey of the American flag, honoring our veterans and supporting these children.

Mark your calendars for Friday, May 10, at 2:30 p.m. on UD’s Green, at Delaware Avenue, where the relay will make its stop. Organized by the PepsiCo North American Beverages Transportation team, this annual event raises funds for the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. This foundation has raised approximately $2 million to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

During the stop, a U.S. military veteran PepsiCo driver will pass the flag to another veteran driver, continuing its journey from Seattle to New York. We welcome the UD community to join us in this meaningful event. Additionally, you can contribute to the cause through our T-shirt fundraiser. Visit our website for more information on the foundation and how to donate.
