UD lab to conduct free hearing, language screenings for children

Program run by Treatment Efficacy and Language Learning Lab

The University of Delaware Treatment Efficacy and Language Learning (TELL) Lab will host two free hearing and language screening events in June. Screenings on Saturday, June 2, will be at the Appoquinimink Public Library at 651 North Broad St., Middletown, DE 19709. Screenings on Saturday, June 9, will take place at the Bear Public Library at 101 Governor's Place, Bear, DE 19701.

The lab will screen:

  • Language for children age 8 months through 18 years old

  • Children who speak/hear English as their first language

  • Hearing for children in pre-school through 18 years old

If you cannot attend these dates, but would like to know when the lab is running a screening event in the future, you can fill out an information request form on the TELL Lab website, email tell-lab@udel.edu or call 302-831-7121.

Walk-ins are welcome or you can register in advance.
