University of Delaware departments may now use a new webform to make reservations at the Courtyard Newark on UD’s Laird Campus.

Fill out the webform, click submit and staff from the hotel will contact you.

Making a reservation

The UD rate is offered when the department makes the reservation on behalf of the guest, regardless of who pays. If the caller/requester is not a representative of UD, the hotel’s prevailing rate will be offered.

Such reservations can only be made by calling the hotel directly or using the UD webform. The UD rate is not available through Marriott.com or any other third party booking site.

If the hotel’s prevailing rate is lower than the UD rate, the lower rate would be honored. If a procurement card is used for payment, the 8 percent occupancy tax is waived. Copies of receipts are in the process of being automated, but can be requested anytime by emailing dackerman@shanercorp.com
