Research Office program offers expert insight on grants for faculty researchers

The University of Delaware Research Office will host a half-day workshop offering faculty researchers an opportunity to get expert advice on creating successful applications for grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at Clayton Hall, 100 David Hollowell Drive, Newark.

The workshop includes two interactive sessions with Joseph Frascella, former senior science advisor for the National Institute on Drug Abuse and now vice president for research at Legacy Health.

Frascella will present an overview of NIH and discuss how to create a successful grant application.

Also included are question and answer sessions and a networking lunch with successful NIH-funded faculty.

The workshop will be held at Clayton Hall, 100 David Hollowell Drive, Newark.
