Reopening event to include special breakfast, lunch menus and giveaways

On Friday, Sept. 22, UD Dining invites the University of Delaware community to a Reopening Celebration at Russell Residential Dining, where guests are welcome to enjoy special breakfast and lunch menus, all-day giveaways and a DJ.

This all-you-care-to-eat residential dining location reopened this fall semester with a fresh spin. The eatery features restaurant-style service and food, an open floor plan, new café-style seating and a fresh dough pizza oven.

Steak & eggs, Nutella French toast, a build-your-own waffle bar and a specialty coffee station are some of the features planned for breakfast.

Lunch specials include a Blue Hen chicken bowl, primavera pizza, French dip sandwiches, a made-to-order deli, citrus marinated salmon and more.

Russell Dining will be open for breakfast from 7 a.m.-9:30 a.m. and for lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and is located in the Russell Complex on East Campus, next to the Harrington Turf.

Russell will also offer its weekly dining special where the UD community is invited to dine for $7 on Fridays at lunch. This special will continue through the semester at both Russell and Pencader Residential Dining locations.

Acceptable payment methods at Russell Residential Dining include meals, points, Flex, credit and cash. Please visit UD Dining’s website for the most up-to-date hours and information.
