Financial analytics, hospitality and graduate business programs will be explained
For those with an interest in enhancing their skills in business, management, big data or hospitality, UD’s Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics will host several information sessions this month.
These sessions will give attendees insight on how to join the next incoming class and how these programs can fit into career advancement goals.
Hospitality Minors Information Session | Oct. 16
On Monday, Oct. 16, the Lerner College’s Department of Hospitality Business Management will host a session for students interested in the following minors:
Sport management (offered to students outside of the Lerner College only)
The session will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Lerner Hall Atrium.
Financial Services Analytics Ph.D. Information Session | Oct. 19
Those interested in pursuing a graduate degree in the increasingly critical field of big data are invited to register for the UD financial services analytics (FSAN) Ph.D. program information session on Monday, Oct. 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the Trabant University Center.
During the session, attendees will hear from FSAN faculty and meet with program staff and current students to learn about the opportunities the program provides. These include:
Applying to program with either a master's or bachelor's degree
Tuition waiver and a competitive stipend to cover living expenses
Joining a cohort of students with strong quantitative backgrounds, solid computer skills and understanding of business principles in the financial services industry
Internship opportunities in the financial services industry
Career opportunities in academia or industry
Graduate Business Programs Information Session | Oct. 26
The UD MBA and specialized graduate programs information session is for those who want to expand their career options, master new knowledge and enhance their earning power.
Attendees will hear from faculty thought leaders and meet with program staff and current students to learn about what makes Lerner’s graduate business programs unique, including:
Ways to design a degree that fits your career goals with our five MBA majors and 12 concentrations, specialized graduate programs and dual graduate degrees
Admissions, tuition and scholarship opportunities
Flexible online and hybrid course options
Student support resources for online and on-campus students

Those who register now and attend this session will have their application fee waived. Parking is complimentary and light refreshments will be served.
