Nominations sought for excellence in teaching, advising awards

The University of Delaware is now seeking nominations for the Excellence-in-Teaching Award for faculty and graduate students and for the Excellence-in-Undergraduate-Advising-and-Mentoring Award.

These highly competitive awards honor outstanding faculty members and graduate students, and nominations from current and past students receive particular attention.

The deadline for this year’s nominations is March 1, 2018. Nominations received after that date will be held for consideration the next year.

Up to four Excellence-in-Teaching Awards for faculty, each with a stipend of $5,000, and up to two Excellence-in-Teaching Awards for graduate students, each with a stipend of $1,500, will be given this year.

Up to four Excellence-in-Undergraduate-Advising-and-Mentoring Awards, each with a stipend of $5,000, will be given.
