UD participating in NSSE; students could win city of Newark gift card

This spring the University of Delaware is participating in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). First-year and senior students who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win one of 20 city of Newark gift cards worth $20 each.

NSSE is a national survey that collects information from first-year and senior students across the country about the ways in which they study, learn and interact with faculty and each other.

Responses from UD students and comparison data from students at other colleges and universities help the University better understand and improve students’ experiences at UD. Results of previous surveys can be found on UD’s Institutional Research website. To gain access to the results, members of the UD community will need to enter their UDelNet ID as their username and password.

First-year and senior students have been invited to participate in NSSE via e-mail. The survey closes on Thursday, June 1. If you are a student who has been invited and you cannot find the e-mail invitation, visit www.nssesurvey.org to request your login ID.

Students who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win one of the city of Newark gift cards.

UD staff in Institutional Research and the Center for Teaching & Assessment of Learning look forward to sharing NSSE results with the entire UD community this fall by updating UD’s Institutional Research website, sharing reports, conducting presentations, and offering consultations.
