UD continuing studies business program overview to be held in Wilmington

A free information session introducing spring 2017 professional development certificate programs to prospective students will be held Thursday, Jan. 12, from 5:45-8 p.m. at the University of Delaware’s Arsht Hall, 2700 Pennsylvania Ave., Wilmington.

Hosted by UD’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS), the business-program-focused information session provides opportunities for prospective students to network with faculty and program graduates so they can ask questions and learn more about the programs.

Spring 2017 business-oriented certificate programs include:

• Analytics: Optimizing Big Data;

• Business Analysis;

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt;

• Project Management; and

• Social Media Marketing Strategy.

Anyone who registers and pays in full for a certificate program at or before the information session will receive a 10 percent discount. Refreshments will be served at the information session.

Business-oriented certificate programs are scheduled to suit working professionals’ schedules and can be completed in about three months. Most programs meet at UD’s Arsht Hall in Wilmington or at the Professional and Continuing Studies Resource Center in Newark. Some classes include virtual online class meetings to supplement classroom sessions.

The information session is free, but reservations are requested. For more information about PCS certificate programs, or to RSVP, call 302-831-7600, visit the website or email PCS at continuing-ed@udel.edu.

Separate information sessions will be held for fitness- and health-care-focused programs, including Personal Fitness Trainer (Jan. 23), Advanced Telehealth Coordinator (Jan. 24), Clinical Trials Management Online (Jan. 30), Improving Cultural Competence for Health Care Professionals (Feb. 13), Health Care Risk Management Online (Feb. 20), and Essentials of Clinical Sleep Health Online (March 13).
