Newark Police investigate bank robbery on Delaware Avenue

Newark Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred around 2:49 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, at TD Bank, 230 East Delaware Ave.

A 20-year-old male bank teller reported that he turned over an undisclosed amount of money after a man presented him with a demand note. The suspect then fled the bank and entered what appeared to be a black, newer model, four-door Nissan passenger car. The suspect's vehicle was last observed traveling east on Wyoming Road.

The suspect is described as a thin black male in his mid 20s to early 30s, with a goatee.
