Group fitness

The fall group fitness schedule and unlimited class pass registration are available online. The schedule features 40-plus weekly classes in various formats, including mind-body, strength, cardio, HIIT and dance. To view the schedule and register, please visit this page.

Participants will now be required to reserve their spots in class online prior to arriving. Registration opens 24 hours before the class starts. View the full reservation, cancellation and refund policy on this page.

Club sports

Those interested in joining one of the 38 club sports teams on campus should plan on attending Club Sports Night from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29, at the Lil Bob. Representatives from each team will be available to provide information on tryouts, practice schedules, competition and more. For more information, please visit this page.

Personal training

Personal training sessions are also available for those who prefer one-on-one instruction. All trainers are nationally certified and will create an effective workout plan tailored to meet their client’s goals. Sessions are scheduled at a time convenient to the client and can take place in the privacy of the personal training studio or the main fitness area. Fitness assessments and body fat testing are also available. For information on packages and registration, please visit this page.

UD CrossFit

As an official affiliate, UD CrossFit will provide a unique workout experience for participants of all fitness levels. Classes include movements that are functional, safe and adaptable for all. Each class is one hour; no two days are the same and results are dramatic. The space is located in the back of the Lil Bob and requires a membership. View more information here.

Free classes will be offered Aug. 29 through Sept. 1. View the schedules and reserve a spot in class online.

Intramural sports leagues

Get your teams ready for another action-packed semester of intramural sports. Play in leagues such as basketball, broomball, sand volleyball, softball and real-life Battleship. All intramural sports leagues are open to UD students, employees and others with a Lil Bob membership.  Men’s, women’s and coed divisions with two levels of competitiveness are offered to accommodate participants of all experience levels. Winning teams receive the new intramural champion T-shirts. To view the sports schedule and register, please visit this page.

Participants in search of a team or additional players can join the UD Intramural Free Agent Facebook group to connect with others.

Self-defense

This six-week long program teaches participants how to properly defend themselves in any situation. Participants will learn to have better awareness of their surroundings while developing tools to avoid and get out of a hostile situation. The program is taught by third-degree black belt Sensei Frankie D’Astoli. For more information and to register, please visit this page.
