Reception to showcase graduating students’ artwork
An opening reception for an exhibition of work by the 10 students graduating from the University of Delaware’s Master of Fine Arts program this spring will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, May 5, at the Delaware Contemporary, 200 South Madison Street, Wilmington.
The exhibition will be on view through June 11. Admission to the museum is free, with suggested donations of $10 for adults and $5 for children under 18.
Artists showcased in the exhibition are Samuel Boehm, Juan Pablo Cárdenas, Bailey M. Chick, Justin Coleman, Abby Daleki, Nick King, Jason Lake, Eddy Rhenals-Narvaez, Molly Walker and Jacqueline Yvonne.
UD’s Willow Quartet will perform from 5:30-6:30 p.m. during the opening reception. Members of the ensemble are Elisabeth Porter, flute; Laura Yawney, oboe; Luisa Raigosa, clarinet; and Collin Walter, bassoon.
