IGS director search

Institute for Global Studies reminds UD community to watch open public forums and submit feedback online

On Fridays, April 14 and 21, the Institute for Global Studies welcomed two finalists in the search for a new director, Ben Levy and Joseph DeCrosta, to the University of Delaware for a campus visit and public forum. Those unable to attend the open presentations can watch online at their convenience.

The third finalist has withdrawn from the search and her public forum originally scheduled for Friday, April 28, has been cancelled.

“The new director of the Institute for Global Studies will play a key role in the continuation of the University’s internationalization efforts,” noted Deputy Provost Lynn Okagaki. “The director will provide leadership and vision in areas ranging from on-campus global outreach to study abroad, sponsored projects, and international exchanges and agreements. I invite our students, faculty and staff to weigh in as we move forward.”

All members of the UD community should submit their feedback on each of the finalists to the search committee by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 28.
