University of Delaware Athletics will host Blue Hens Downstate Day, featuring free activities and sport skills sessions, at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware, on Saturday, April 22.

Join Delaware Football, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Field Hockey and Cheer teams as they hit the field downstate from 2-4 p.m., April 22. The day will include a free, interactive, family-friendly fan zone with games, inflatables, giveaways, face painting, music, the UDairy Moo Mobile and more, as well as sport skills sessions with Blue Hens student-athletes.

Boys and girls 5 to 12 years of age are also invited to participate in Athletics Skills Fun, where they will learn hands-on skills from the student-athletes and coaches in attendance.  Kids may select one sport to participate in: football, soccer, basketball, field hockey or cheer.

Registration, which includes a free youth sized T-shirt, is open until 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, or until each sport is filled.
