NPR book critic Maureen Corrigan to speak at 2017 UDLA Dinner
Maureen Corrigan, renowned book critic for NPR’s Fresh Air and the Washington Post, will be the featured speaker at the annual dinner of the University of Delaware Library Associates scheduled Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
The presentation, "An Evening with Maureen Corrigan and The Great Gatsby," will be held in Arsht Hall on the UD campus in Wilmington.
Corrigan has been the Fresh Air book critic for more than 20 years and also is a columnist for the Washington Post and critic-in-residence at Georgetown University.
The Library Journal named one of her books, So We Read On: How the Great Gatsby Came to Be and Why It Endures, one of the 10 best books of the year in 2014.
Those with interest in attending are asked to save the date. Formal invitations will be mailed in early February 2017.
All members of the University of Delaware Library Associates will be invited. Others with interest can send an email message to UDLA@udel.edu or call the library administration at 302-831-2231 to request information or an invitation.
The annual dinner is open to the public with a paid dinner reservation.
