'iMovie: The Essentials'

Library offers iMovie multimedia workshop on Sept. 22

The University of Delaware Library will offer an “iMovie: The Essentials” multimedia workshop on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Building on a history of great video editing tools, Apple’s iMovie provides more flexibility than ever before. Users can easily create HD videos in this hands-on workshop and explore iMovie’s entire editing process from beginning to end.

The workshop will be offered from 2-3:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 in Room B of the Student Multimedia Design Center on the lower level of the Morris Library.

Presenter will be Hannah Lee, senior assistant librarian and program coordinator, Multimedia Literacy, Multimedia Collections and Services Department.

This workshop is available at no charge and is open to University of Delaware faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and registration is required. For a complete listing of workshops and to register online, go to this website.

All visitors to the Morris Library need to have photo identification to enter the building, e.g., a UD ONEcard, a U.S. driver’s license or a government-issued or school-issued photo ID. Frequent visitors to the Morris Library, who are 18 years of age or older and who do not have a ONEcard, may visit the Circulation and Reserve desk to register and have their photo taken for a free Library Frequent Visitor card. Once received, this ID can then be used with the card reader at the turnstiles for easy access to the building.

Call 302-831-2432 or email lib-workshops@udel.edu with questions regarding the workshops.
