Artstor workshop

Library offers workshop ‘Artstor: Teaching, Learning with Images’

The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop titled “Artstor: Teaching and Learning with Images” on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Artstor is a digital library of more than one million images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities and social sciences.

This workshop will teach participants how to search for images, create and manage image groups, add images and download images for use in presentations. It is co-sponsored by the Department of Art History.

“Artstor: Teaching and Learning with Images” will be offered from 2-3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Room 116A on the first floor of the Morris Library.

Presenters will be Susan A. Davi, head, Collection Management and Licensed Electronic Content, University of Delaware Library, and Derek Churchill, director, Visual Resources, Department of Art History.

This workshop is offered at no charge and open to UD students, faculty, and staff. Seating is limited, and registration is required. For a complete listing of workshops and to register online, go to this website.

Participants are welcome to use the resources of the University of Delaware Library on-site. All visitors to the Morris Library need to have photo identification to enter the building, e.g., a UD ONEcard, a U.S. driver’s license or a government-issued or school-issued photo ID.
