Recovery Yoga - Fall 2015
We are pleased to offer "Recovery Yoga" for anyone who is engaged in a healing process. Participants will not be asked to disclose information about their recovery, but examples include: sexual assault, eating disorders, drug and alcohol use, mental health struggles, veterans of war. Yoga sessions will be taught by trained instructors from Transformation Yoga. Classes will be held on Thursday nights at 7pm in 160 Carpenter Sports Building, starting with a first class kick-off on the Central Green on Sept. 17, 2015. Sponsored by the Collegiate Recovery Community, Sexual Offense Support, and Student Wellness & Health Promotion.
Pow! Peer Educator Services
- Designing and presenting programs for residence halls and for other University and non-University groups including high school students on such topics as: nutrition, fitness, sexuality issues, HIV/AIDS, smoking cessation, massage, stress management, eating disorders, body image, and alternative health practices.
- Participating on campus-wide committees as student representatives of Wellspring to share student viewpoints about pertinent health information.
- Planning and assisting with special campus-wide events designed to make learning about wellness issues informative, interactive and fun.
- Providing individual peer consultation, including referral and confidential support.

Bus trip to Rally in DC
Bus will take the group from Newark to Washington, DC
The time has come to UNITE to Face Addiction and stand up for recovery. On October 4, 2015 a transformative event will take place in Washington, DC that will ignite and build a movement to address one of the most pressing health issues of our time.
