Our Behavioral Health Specialists at Student Wellness & Health Promotion offer individual appointments to address a variety of health concerns.
- Dating Violence/Healthy Relationships Counselor, Jenn Ewald, provides Dating/Domestic Violence & Healthy Relationships Counseling and Education.
- Substance Abuse Counselors, Amy Richardson and Jessica Estok, provide Substance Abuse Counseling and Education.
- Health and Wellness Specialist, Nancy Chase, provides Nutrition & Fitness Education, Body Image and Eating Disorders Evaluations, Stress Management, and Smoking Cessation support.
- Sexuality Specialist, Angela Seguin, provides Crisis Counseling & follow-up support for Survivors of Sexual Assault, Intimate Partner Violence & Stalking, as well as education and support about STDs, Safer Sex, Sexual Orientation, and Healthy Relationships.

International Overdose Awareness Day
International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is a global event held on August 31st each year and aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have met with death or permanent injury as a result of drug overdose.

We are pleased to offer "Recovery Yoga" for anyone engaged in a healing process. Participants will not be asked to disclose information about their recovery, but examples include: sexual assault, eating disorders, drug and alcohol use, mental health struggles, veterans of war. Classes will be taught by trained instructors from Transformation Yoga. After this kick-off session, classes will be held on Thursday nights at 7pm in 160 Carpenter Sports Building. Sponsored by the Collegiate Recovery Community, Sexual Offense Support, and Student Wellness & Health Promotion.
Bus trip to Rally in DC
Bus will take the group from Newark to Washington, DC
The time has come to UNITE to Face Addiction and stand up for recovery. On October 4, 2015 a transformative event will take place in Washington, DC that will ignite and build a movement to address one of the most pressing health issues of our time. 2nd Annual S.O.S. 5K: Glow for Hope Walk/Run

Whether you are an avid racer, are looking for opportunities to exercise, or are passionate about ending sexual assault, intimate partner violence & stalking on campus, we hope you will join S.O.S. for our 2nd Annual 5K event! Registration is $15 for UD students, $20 Non-Student pre-registration rate until 10/5, $50 Family Rate, $25 Day-of-Event registration. T-shirts, & refreshments for all participants.
