Ballet, Stroking and Power Development Winter Classes
Skating has always been a sport of athleticism, mixed with grace. While learning the technical side on the ice, every good skater takes part in a ballet program. We are excited to offer a ballet class geared to skaters of all ages, at the alpha level and up. Students are encouraged to take part in this supplemental class and enhance their flexibility and presentation on Saturdays at 10:45 a.m., which follows the standard learn to skate schedule
Winter I & Winter II Fee: $50.00, each series (must register in person at ice arena information window)
Take skating to the next level with our fantastic stroking class This class is open to skaters in the levels of Alpha and up. . Students will learn a variety of drills, exercises, and other maneuvers, which will help develop speed and control on the ice. Stroking, power skating techniques, and advanced strengthening skills are just a few of the many beneficial elements your skater will learn as a participant in the stroking class. This class also conveniently follows the standard learn to skate schedule.
During the Fall I and Fall II series this class is offered on Saturdays during the hour from 11:50 a.m.-12:50 p.m.in conjuction with the Stoking Class.
Winter I & Winter II $50.00 each series (must register in person at ice arena information window)
The power development class uses the high engery of music and the art of presentation to teach students how to skate their best. And, while the student learns to increase their speed, they also learn about style, choreography and motion. This class is for skaters at Beta level and above. During the Fall I and Fall II series this class is offered on Saturdays during the hour from 11:50 a.m.-12:50 p.m.in conjuction with the Stoking Class.
Winter I & Winter II Fee: $35.00 (must register in person at ice arena information window)
Special Offer: Enroll in Power Development and Stroking for Winter I and Winter II for each series $70 and save $15.00.
Registration for Ballet, Stroking and Power Development and Synchronized Team Class must be done in person at the Information window in the Fred Rust Ice Arena.
Visit the Fred Rust Ice Arena Information Window, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. or during any learn to skate classes to register for these classes.
