2013 Summer Hockey Camp: August 12-16, 2013
This year are offering an advance/travel camp as well. Players will be divided into groups based on skill level.
Under the Direction of Former Professional Hockey Player and current UD Ice Hockey Team Head Coach M. F. Schurman.
The Delaware Community Hockey Office will once again be hosting the Blue Hen Hockey Camp for the summer of 2013.
The highlights of M.F’s pro career include playing on a line with boyhood idol Gordie Howe with the Hartford Whalers in the 1979-80 season. He also played on championship teams with the AHL Maine Mariners in 1978-79 and 1983-84, and the WIHL Spokane Flyers in 1977-78. M.F. was a midseason all star selection in the IHL in 1978-79, scoring the winning goal for the North team in the all-star game and the CHL in 1982-83.
M.F. has been teaching hockey skills and power skating for more than 30 years. During this time he has worked with all levels from beginners through professional players.
Camp will focus on every facet of the game of ice hockey and we will be working with your child to ensure their development over the 5 day camp. Held in the Rust Ice Arena from August 12-16, 2013, the camp will utlized the talents of the local UD hockey community, including members of the UD Club Hockey team as well as several professional coaches.

*Pizza/Boneless Wings provided on Friday, August 16, 2012 for lunch (players must supply own drinks)

Blue Hen Hockey Camp Daily Schedule August 12-16, 2013 RUST ICE ARENA Cost: $275 prior to June 23, 2013, after June 23, 2013 cost is $325 per player. $25 sibling discount is provided. Upon completition of on-line registration form, confirmation letter and welcome packet with paperwork that needs to be completed and turned in the first day of class will be e-mailed. |
