The University of Delaware will host "Take Our Daughters & Sons to Work Day" on Thursday, April 25, 2013. More than a career day, this initiative provides children of employees with an opportunity to explore their career options and feel empowered to dream and imagine all the possibilities that they have in front of them.
A variety of guided activities will be offered between 12:00pm and 2:45pm, so that children (ages 8-18) can accompany their parents during the work day and then participate with them in one or more activities during this time period. Many exciting activities have been planned by various Colleges and departments across campus where children can learn about different ways to pursue their own professional aspirations.
Participation is voluntary and is at the discretion of employees' supervisors. You and your child(ren) may participate in the scheduled activities as your schedule permits.
