University of Delaware

Counselors

As a school counselor working with students and their families in the college selection and application process, you have seen your role become more complex with each passing year. As college admissions officers, we appreciate the difficult challenges facing you, and we want to emphasize how much we value you as partners. We share a common responsibility: to help students find a college setting where they will experience new challenges, develop new abilities, and thrive.

This section of the web site has been designed to provide you with quick access to information most important to you. We encourage you to explore all of www.udel.edu. Please visit often and let us know if there is additional information you would like to see included.

Our New Path to Prominence

These are enormously exciting times at the University of Delaware. The arrival on July 1, 2007 of Dr. Patrick T. Harker as the University of Delaware’s 26th President heralded a year of self-study that produced a compelling case for the future -- The Path to Prominence: Strategic Plan for the University of Delaware. Even if you have known the university for many years, we encourage you to explore and experience our new directions and dimensions. We believe that particular milestones along this charted path will have unusual resonance for your students.
