University of Delaware

Counselors

As a school counselor working with students and their families in the college selection and application process, you have seen your role become more complex with each passing year. As college admissions officers, we appreciate the difficult challenges facing you, and we want to emphasize how much we value you as partners. We share a common responsibility: to help students find a college setting where they will experience new challenges, develop new abilities, and thrive.

This section of the web site has been designed to provide you with quick access to information most important to you. We encourage you to explore all of www.udel.edu. Please visit often and let us know if there is additional information you would like to see included.

Our New Path to Prominence

These are enormously exciting times at the University of Delaware. Upon the arrival of Dr. Patrick T. Harker as the University of Delaware’s 26th President, the strategic groundwork, known as the Path to Prominence was laid to establish a plan for the future.

Emerging from the successes of the “Path,” is an updated set of initiatives and goals to continue to propel us into the future. The new plan, “Delaware Will Shine: Creating Our Future,” will continue to shape the opportunities and experiences of current and future university students.
